a netbook cosy, swap clothes and a shoe tidy

Now Claudie is crawling I thought the netbook could do with protecting from little fingers-and Sew Hip magazine happened to have this pattern I had to use some old polyester batting and I hated working with it-but I'm happy enough with the finished article.

These tops are for the kids swap on the sewing mamas forum-all have little bird/owl finger puppets in their pockets

and Cj modelling one of hers, I made her a brown linen owl one too

but as usual she doesn't want to sit around being photographed!

This needs a larger clothes hanger in the top but you get the general idea- again fro the last Sew Hip magazine, April was my favourite issue yet, 2 projects down and still a couple more to make from that one.
Thanks for looking!

Mama swap

First up-just a pair of joggers for CJ made from an old pair of mine-please excuse the reluctant model pose! I've made 3 jewellery rolls with bracelets for the mama swap on sewing mamas-I hope they like them

I've got 3 tops on the go at the moment, 2 for the kids swap and 1 for CJ-then I have one more thing to make for the kids swap, not sure if I want to make another top or go for something different yet
Thanks for looking

Hello!

Hi-welcome to my blog. I already blog as paperpenguin for my cardmaking but more and more sewing was creeping in! I mainly sew for my 1yr old daughter Claudie- be wanred she isn't often a willing model, she hates having her photo taken!!

She was bought a lovely spotty t-shirt with matching tights -so I made her a couple of things to wear with them from a t-shirt of mine that had a mark on it.

Leggings made from the sleeves-with red buttons on the ankles
A layered skirt with more buttons
I also threw a few buttons on a t-shirt of mine to cover a mark on it-yes the button box took a bashing today!!
Thought I'd throw in a rare photo of Claudie with her eyes open modelling a hate mummy made

Thanks for stopping by!
